Dr. Kim Zagorski, 68, of Midland, GA passed peacefully Friday, April 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving wife, mother and daughters.
A visitation will be held 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, May 6. 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Kim was born January 25, 1954 in Detroit, MI to Doreen Abel and the late Casmere Zagorski. He proudly served in the US Army for 18 years earning the rank of Lt. Colonel, representing his country in several wars and conflicts. Since his Army retirement, he has been a family practice physician at Martin Army Community Hospital, most recently the Physician Leader of the Eagle Team, and a beloved mentor to many. Kim enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, archery, snow skiing and found joy in cooking, music, travel, and teaching.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Teresa Zagorski of Columbus, GA, daughters, Stacy Fields of Pensacola, FL, Nicole Zagorski of Canton, GA, mother, Doreen Abel of Independence, MO, brothers, Michael Zagorski of Kansas City, KS, Ricky Zagorski, Ralph Abel, Clifford Abel of Independence, MO and several cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom admire him deeply.
